Hello fellow Florida PT’s,
Volunteers are needed in the Northwest District for some fall prevention events. Dates and locations are as follows. If you are interested please let me know! Please share with any of your PT contacts who may be in this area. Thank you all!
Tuesday Sept 10th at 10:00 Fall Prevention Bingo at Cobb Community Center in Pensacola hosted by the educator; PT needed to follow at 11:00 with a free fall assessment for the participants.
Thursday Sept 12th at 1:00 Fall Prevention Bingo at Bayview Senior Center in Pensacola. Educator could set you up in a different room at the same time to do falls assessments or anything else falls related, or you can follow her in the same space. Bayview offered both choices. 
A PT is needed to come to speak for one hour at our A Matter of Balance program about getting up from a fall and a few other things (not specified by educator, will follow up) in Fort Walton Beach at the library on one of the following dates: August 16, 19, 23, or 26. You could come for any hour between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
