A forum for the APTA Geriatrics State Advocates who work at the local level to advocate for older adults. State Advocates provide two-way communication between APTA Geriatrics and the state chapter. This forum is for APTA Geriatrics State Advocates to gather, discuss ideas, and engage with each other.

Only state advocates can join this forum.

Hey Team!

This is Phil Kilmer, the Geriatric State Advocate for Kansas! Along with local DPT students, we have been able to put on the SAFE at a local Council on Aging, a balance and falls screen at a local retirement home, and we partnered with an IL in KC to perform a fall risk assessment with exercise recommendations!
