National Fall Prevention Awareness Week

FYI State Advocates —

Dear All,

As you prepare for Falls Prevention Awareness Week September 18-22, 2023, the National Falls Prevention Resource Center at the National Council on Aging (NCOA) would like to remind you to complete the annual online Falls Prevention Awareness Week Impact Survey at the end of your Falls Prevention Awareness Week observance.

Survey Link :2023 Falls Prevention Awareness Week Impact and Reach Survey

Survey submissions provide NCOA with valuable content that we include in the annual Falls Prevention Awareness Week Impact Report they demonstrate the impact of this national campaign observed by partners throughout the country. The report will be shared with stakeholders involved in older adult falls prevention. As in the past, you are free to use the report in any local or state marketing and recruiting activities. The survey also asks for examples of activities that contributed the most to your success in Falls Prevention Awareness Week and how you helped older adults in your community take action to reduce their falls risk.

We appreciate your efforts to make the 16th annual observation of the Falls Prevention Awareness Week a success. We look forward to hearing how you empowered your community to take action to stay independent and falls free.

Warm Regards,

The NCOA National Falls Prevention Resource Center Team
